Opportunities, Challenges and Experiences
The opening ceremony for the International Business Startup Center, established under the Midwest International Research Institute (MIRI), took place on April 17, 2019, at 10:00 AM. The event was attended by the Mayor of Wentzville, Missouri, the President of Midwest University, and various state officials, as well as researchers from the institute.
With the collaboration of the Missouri state government and the city, the International Business Startup Center operates under the MIRI, focusing particularly on supporting the establishment of venture companies in high-value-added sectors. Additionally, through the Global Leadership Institute (GLI), we provide leadership training and education for political and business leaders, professors, and school principals from around the world.
Midwest University offers aviation-related certification programs, including FAA International Pilot License courses, Aviation Maintenance, and Flight Operations Management. As a member of the International Society of Aviation Safety Investigators (ISASI), the university serves as an educational institution for safety and security. We also provide SMS training and certification programs for pilots and maintenance personnel in collaboration with organizations such as the Fire Department, FEMA, the Forest Service, 119, and the Coast Guard.
