As Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors emerge as central themes in capital markets and corporate management, ESG management has become a vital survival strategy for various stakeholders facing the climate crisis and the challenges of stakeholder capitalism. In response to this shift, our ESG Research Institute focuses on analyzing the evolving landscape of ESG management, which is influencing society at large and establishing itself as a new paradigm. Today, various forms of crises?ranging from natural disasters and climate change to new threats like the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical conflicts, terrorism, cyberattacks, financial crimes, corporate bankruptcies, industrial accidents, and the emergence of disruptive technologies associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution?pose significant threats to nations, corporations, societies, individuals, and organizations. In light of these challenges, our Crisis Management Research Institute is dedicated to proactive detection and integrated crisis management strategies. We focus on ESG management as a sustainable approach to survival in today's complex environment.

The Global Arts Institute plays a significant role in expanding our understanding of art and culture, while also providing a systematic framework for enhancing the quality of our society. The Big Data Analytics Institute and the Computer Science Institute focus on extracting meaningful information from vast quantities of data?commonly referred to as big data?and analyzing data patterns to apply insights across various business sectors. Building on this research, we aim to derive more reliable data outcomes and plan to gather additional information to enhance our findings. Our projects explore the broad theme of "Digital Transformation," which encompasses advancements in information and communication technology (ICT) such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data management technologies, and 6G high-speed communication platforms, as well as AI-supported metaverse applications. We place particular emphasis on topics related to large-scale systems for search and data analysis, web mining and advertising technologies, and the implications of big data applications and privacy concerns in society.

The International Startup Incubator Center conducts research and provides consulting services to foster ongoing business opportunities. The International Futures Institute is dedicated to predicting and analyzing changes in future environments, developing medium- to long-term national development strategies, and enhancing national policy capabilities to contribute to national progress. We also plan to host international future strategy forums and conferences aimed at empowering citizens, resolving social conflicts, and showcasing new trends in national development through a dynamic economy. Research areas at the International Futures Institute include studies on international state strategies, unification strategies for a unified Korea, international human development, and research on international future leadership academies.

The International Alternative Medicine Institute defines health and well-being from a broad perspective. Well-being encompasses not only welfare and unemployment benefits but also education and the labor market. Our research generates knowledge about the impacts of demographic, social, environmental, and biological factors on human health and the related challenges to human well-being. We aim to transform this knowledge into practical solutions for healthcare and welfare systems. These research efforts are expected to lead to better disease classification, more effective treatments for patients, improved disease prevention, and more efficient welfare systems.

We are dedicated to helping individuals restore their human rights alongside advancements in social welfare, reclaiming and upholding human dignity in our society, and advocating for the rights of marginalized groups in the pursuit of a human rights-friendly world.
The International Nuclear Institute operates in collaboration with the Institute of Advanced Engineering (IAE), one of the leading centers specializing in combustion processes and environmental control. Our institute focuses on the technological planning of standardized nuclear power plants in Korea, which have received high acclaim. Additionally, we aim to conduct a wide range of research in the areas of design, procurement, construction, operation, maintenance, and management of power facilities, as well as in the field of transmission and distribution.
The International Public Policy Administration Institute aims to provide educational opportunities for individuals working in the public administration sector. This research program is open not only to domestic public officials but also to international participants. Potential research areas include public policy administration, fire management systems, police management systems, disaster management systems, international relations, and election and campaign management. Specific topics related to election and campaign management encompass campaign planning, developing successful campaign strategies, voter targeting and identification, grassroots organizing and fundraising, and promoting strategic communication for local governments and communities.

The Safety and Security Research Institute is committed to ensuring public safety and enhancing the social value of public institutions. Our operations are based on safety data analysis, international standardization, and technological leadership, facilitated by data digitization. We collect, analyze, and utilize safety information related to rail and aviation to support certification testing, research, policy development, and technology advancement aimed at preventing accidents in these sectors. This research thoroughly examines regulations in rail and aviation safety to ensure the safety of the public while focusing on specific safety issues.

The Theological Research Institute was established to lead Christian theology by exploring and strategically presenting the future directions of theology and religion. Our mission is to effectively witness and defend the Christian gospel to the world, engaging in meaningful communication that enhances our understanding of the theology of salvation. We aim to contribute to the realization of God’s kingdom across all areas of life. The institute conducts integrative research in various fields, including history, language, ministry, preaching, and worship, focusing on global theology and religious studies.

The World Religions and Mission Research Institute was founded to seek a genuine humanistic perspective based on scholarly research into diverse religious cultures and to encourage critical reflection on human life. Through extensive data collection on domestic and international religious cultures, we conduct in-depth studies on various topics, including global religions and mission research, future strategies for Christianity and mission work, and comparative religion studies. Our research also explores proselytization strategies of emerging religions (such as Buddhism, Mormonism, Hinduism, and New Age movements), the study of global megachurches and their networks, as well as comparative educational studies across different religions.
