Midwest University commemorated its 40th anniversary through the “2026 Midwest Family Night,” held on April 14 in Seoul, reaffirming the institution’s longstanding commitment to faith-based education and its mission of cultivating globally minded leaders for the next generation.

The anniversary celebration brought together distinguished guests, alumni, faculty members, and supporters to reflect on the university’s four decades of educational and spiritual leadership. The event served not only as a moment of celebration, but also as a platform to present the university’s renewed strategic direction for the future.

During the ceremony, James Song highlighted the institution’s continued growth and introduced a new institutional vision titled “Global Leadership & Innovation Network.” The initiative underscores the university’s aspiration to strengthen international academic collaboration, foster innovation-driven leadership, and expand its global educational influence in an increasingly interconnected world.

In recognition of their longstanding dedication and contributions to the university community, several faculty members and supporters were honored during the event for their exemplary service and commitment to the institution’s mission.

The university also announced plans for its upcoming “40th Anniversary Homecoming Conference,” scheduled to take place from May 11–14, 2026, at the university’s main campus in Wentzville. The conference is expected to gather alumni, church leaders, educators, and international partners for a series of commemorative events, academic forums, and fellowship activities.

Reflecting on four decades of growth and spiritual heritage, Midwest University stated that it will continue to pursue academic excellence grounded in Christian values while expanding its role as a global institution of higher education. Building upon what university leaders described as “40 years of God’s grace,” the institution now looks toward the future with a renewed commitment to shaping faith-centered leadership on a global scale.
