Midwest University marked its 39th anniversary with the successful hosting of the “2025 Midwest Family Night” on April 29, 2025, at the Sapphire Hall of the Seoul Air Force Hotel. This special gathering brought together faculty, alumni, and current students, creating a meaningful opportunity to share gratitude and set a collective vision for the university's future. The event, organized under the leadership of Dr. Dong-Ho Park, Chairman of the Alumni Association and President of the Korean Association of Christian Conservative Denominations, opened with a heartfelt welcome from Dr. Park. This was followed by a warm address from President Dr. James Song, who expressed appreciation for the dedication of the Midwest family and outlined the path forward through the “Midwest Vision 2026” initiative, setting the stage for the university’s upcoming 40th anniversary.


A significant moment of the evening was the participation of Representative Richard W. West, a current member of the Missouri State House of Representatives and a trustee of Midwest University. He delivered a congratulatory address, reflecting on the university's impact and importance. On behalf of the Missouri State Legislature, he presented an appreciation plaque to Senior Pastor Yong-Mok Cho of Grace and Truth Church, honoring his decades of dedicated service and meaningful contributions to the community. The heartfelt applause from the attendees reflected the deep respect and gratitude for his years of leadership. Following the plaque presentation, Pastor Cho shared a sincere and impactful message, further inspiring the attendees. The evening concluded with a shared meal, where warm conversations and heartfelt connections created a memorable atmosphere of unity and encouragement. The “2025 Midwest Family Night” served as a powerful symbol of the university’s enduring spirit and commitment, laying a meaningful foundation as it steps confidently toward its 40th anniversary in 2026.
